The police have launched a probe into the mysterious death of two sisters Rosrick Deviana King, 5 and Rosricka Devrickaye King, 4, in the Corporate Area on Saturday
The police report that on Friday, the mother of the girls, Rosden Hewitt, 36, left them in the care of their 15 year old brother .
However, early Saturday, the brother reportedly called his mother, who was out of town, saying the girls were bleeding from the nostrils and mouths.
They were rushed to the Bustamante Hospital for Children where they were pronounced dead.
The police report says the sisters were seen with frothy mucous with blood gushing from their nostrils and mouths, their lips, the palms of their hands and feet appeared to be blue in colour and what appeared to be urine on their clothing.
Based on preliminary examinations conducted the doctors the cause of the deaths is suspected to be consistent with strangulation.
But this is to be determined by a post-mortem.
