Her powerful performance of ‘It’s Not Every day’ earned her the top spot, along with multiple awards, including Best Female Competitor and Best Social Commentary.
1st Runner-up: Singing Tanya – Child of the Soil
2nd Runner-up: Singing Selin – Black History
Best Male Competitor: Red Juice
The event, renamed in honor of the late Rupert “Likkle Man” Pelle, was a spectacular showcase of young talent keeping calypso alive.
