SOURCE: STATE MEDIA- Jaedah “Sweet Melody” Baird has claimed victory in the 6th edition of the Villa Primary School Likkle Man Pelle Black History Month Calypso Competition! 

Her powerful performance of ‘It’s Not Every day’ earned her the top spot, along with multiple awards, including Best Female Competitor and Best Social Commentary.

1st Runner-up: Singing Tanya – Child of the Soil
2nd Runner-up: Singing Selin – Black History
Best Male Competitor: Red Juice

The event, renamed in honor of the late Rupert “Likkle Man” Pelle, was a spectacular showcase of young talent keeping calypso alive.
