Israel Publishes list of all the countries Absent during Netanyahu’s speech, we made the list

SOURCE: https://www.ynetnews.com/- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the UN General Assembly drew global headlines—not for its content, but for the mass walkout that preceded it. On Saturday, Israel published its own count of which countries’ seats were left empty during the 41-minute address.

According to Israeli officials, 77 delegations were either absent from the hall altogether or left at the start of Netanyahu’s remarks. Among them were all four of Israel’s immediate neighbors—Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria—as well as Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Iran.

Officials noted, however, that not all absences were boycotts. In some cases, representatives simply did not attend the morning session in New York, where Netanyahu was the first scheduled speaker.

Jordan and Egypt, for instance, did not take their seats, but did not join the staged protest. Pakistan’s delegation walked out in protest but then stood at the sidelines to listen to the speech, Israeli officials said.

By contrast, envoys from Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates—both signatories to the 2020 Abraham Accords—remained in their seats to hear Netanyahu, despite ongoing strains in relations over the war in Gaza and calls from some of his coalition partners to annex parts of the West Bank.

The walkout was widely covered in international and Arab media, with many outlets leading their reports on the emptying chamber rather than on Netanyahu’s pledges to “finish the job” against Hamas. Even Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei shared images of the protest online, calling Israel “the most despised and isolated regime.”

The 77 countries listed as absent or walking out included Spain, Brazil, South Africa, Ireland, Malaysia, Indonesia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and several from Latin America, Africa, and the Pacific.

Israel’s review emphasized that the dramatic protest underscored the challenges the government faces on the world stage, as diplomatic fallout from the Gaza war deepens.

  1. I applaud this symbolic step taken by nations and open announcement from the UN announcing that it is Indeed a genocide which gives supporters less excuses

  2. Cowardly Jamaica sat there and listened to this despicable man. The Holness regime is spineless…and I am a Jamaican.

    • No wonder Gizzy don’t want are you near Antigua politics of her party for that matter

  3. Where is Trinidad and Tobago, St Vincent, Grenada and St Kitts?
Wasn’t it Trinidad who was calling for the Caribbean to be a zone of peace?
That is tbe definition of hypocrisy.
How could you be calling for your area to be a zone of peace and standing in solidarity with a leader who doesn’t respect the life and sanctity of a people?
    Even Venezuela walked out.
You have a problem with Venezuela’s attempt to annex portion of Guyana.
You have no problem with Palestine wiping out an entire country.
It is no wonder that the Caribbean is divided.
They cannot speak with one voice except when it suits their individual island.
Did the leaders discuss a united position on the situation?
I guess Trinidad was dancing to the tune of America.
To have walked out would defeat their seemingly close stance america against Venezuela.

  4. If a murderer publishes a list of you not been there to celebrate them is that problem or a joy of being in the side of love and human kindness?

  5. The historical facts of this war is lost on many, and many are acting with pure emotions, instead of the facts of this war.

In history, there have been nations who wanted to wipe Israel and the Jews off the face of the earth, and there were also times that God himself has defended Israel in wiping off entire nations and people off the earth.

What many of you are not understanding, are the promises of God that would be fulfilled in his word. ” I will strike them that strike thee, and I will uplift them that uplift thee”. There are many other promises that God made to the people of Israel (his people, through whom his promises flow) that were listed and will be fulfilled.

So this war is not about emotions, and as much as we agree or disagree, it goes back thousands of years for the many astrocitities that has been inflicted upon Israel, so now they are the strong, and not the weak, the head corner stone that was rejected, and not the oppressed, many are now against them for defending themselves against hate.

I do not condone human rights violations, or murder upon the innocent, but are they who are slaughtered innocent?

That’s a question for God who has promised to protect his people.

So look beyond the emotions, and understand that God will never Abandon or disown his people, regardless of who is against them.

He without guilt, fling the first stone..that’s how I look at this war. It is inevitable because of hate. And yes, even though it’s the same people that killed Jesus Christ, that does not stop the promises of God.

God ways are not the ways of man. He is bound by his word and his promises.
Like it or not, that’s the way it is.

Honor is his way, and he will always honor his speech and what he promised.

  6. After you were standing with Israel so long, your government made statements supporting the massacre and you walk out on the man during his speech!? How that work? He promised you something u never got?
    Dam hypocrites all of you!

  7. Yet the christian community in Antigua and Barbuda under the influence of America’s churches/chistians are still sending funds to support these terrorists.

  8. @island26 Jesus Christ bro how can you question the innocents of 66k people since 2023 being killed by bombing or shot 70% being women and children. Non combatants, those numbers don’t even include the staved people children and infants that haven’t even learned to walk yet.

Simply from being born in Gaza they died to preventable and deliberate cause by the Israeli government, which purposely withhold humanitarian aid from countries, when they do provide aid the IDF shoots starving people to get food from the aid. They even go as far as to attacking the flotilla which is currently in international waters which seeks to give direct aid to Gaza independently made up of volunteers from many nations.

No country has the right to wipe out another country and nothing can justify that. Israel are currently striking thee in Gaza for almost everything in the past 2 years and they been doing so since before the formation of Israel when they invaded Palestine and killed the residents of the country.

What hate are they protecting themselves from? The hate they manufactured when Zionism was created? When Zionist seek to make Judaism and Zionism one? Or is it the hate they recieve from attacking nations on a regular occurrence with the backing of America?

  9. it is sad that CARICOM can never speak with one voice on international issues. Each member state seem to be going their own way. How will we ever become a United Union if we are so divided. And please let us not pretend any longer. Let the Quoalition of the Willing Contibue this movement and always speak with one voice. The west and imparticular the USA will always have an upporthand on us with the policy of divide and rule. It is notable that from the countries of the European Union only Spain was able to stand with the rest of us. I had expected France and England to be amongst those as well, since they also choose to recognize the State of Palestine as an independent nation. And Canada of course. Let us not get weary in calling it what it is. A Genocide commited in the 25th Century right infront our eyes, yet NO ONE does anything or even lift a finger to stop it. Are we that powerless?
The instruction, found in Luke 17:3-4, says, “If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him”. This means you should confront your brother about his sin, but if he shows genuine repentance and asks for forgiveness, you must then offer it to him. The principle extends to forgiving him seven times in a day if he repeatedly turns to you saying he repents.

  11. @young Communist.

Well put argument, but this is not about who dies in a war or what they died from, but about why the war was fought in the first place.

Yes it’s unfortunate, but that’s what war is about,it’s about defending ones self.
I’m not being insensitive, but if the shoe was on the other foot, the Palestinians would wipe out Israel as well. I’m not talking from who I like or don’t like, because I have no dog in this fight, but I do understand the origins and deadly effects of this war that has been going on for centuries.

Israel shouldn’t even be a nation today, so don’t you think they will defend that sovereignty to the T? This is a nation that almost never was, so I can’t blame them for defending themselves.

You have to understand the psychology behind this war..it cuts deep in hate.
