Loop News – An islandwide power outage has been reported on mainland Grenada.
Grenada Electricity Services (Grenlec) in a statement said this outage has resulted from an issue at the Queen’s Park Generation Plant.
It says a Grenlec team is responding urgently to restore electricity service to all customers as soon as possible.
Grenlec apologises to customers for the inconvenience.
Grenadians took to social media to complain about the power outage as many are contending with the current heatwave.
