SOURCE: REAL NEWS – A 15-year-old girl is at the center of an ongoing investigation after she was reportedly coerced into a sexual act by a group of boys.

The local Police are actively looking into the incident, prompted by the girl’s mother who brought her to the Special Victims Unit and lodged a complaint detailing the forced oral sex.

In their efforts to gather information, officers interviewed the teenager in the presence of her mother, obtaining crucial details about the offense.

The incident allegedly occurred around 9:30 a.m. on June 13. Notably, recent reports have highlighted a surge in violent crimes involving youth, leading the Police to suspect the involvement of an adult-run organized crime ring.

Within the community, speculation has arisen regarding the motive behind the assault, with some suggesting it may have been a gang initiation ritual.

This adds another layer of concern to the already distressing situation.

Amidst ongoing criticism aimed at the Police for their perceived inability to effectively combat and solve crimes, National Security Minister Steadroy Benjamin has announced plans to establish a new forensic lab.

The availability of this facility is expected to enhance law enforcement’s capacity to solve criminal cases, offering a glimmer of hope for the community in addressing these challenges.

  1. A few weeks ago when the issue came up about the long wait for forensics results from Trinidad the Commissioner said the the Government had no money for a forensics lab
Now that Cutie suddenly found the money time to Bring back the brilliant Antiguan who was educated at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in NYC in forensics; with crucial Sing Sing experience, and now working for Scotland Yard.
No more excuses for the crime epidemic flushing over the island.

What the 🐍 🐍 🐍 Shadow Minister of Agriculture had to say about dis?

  3. Sue the parents of these boys. Shameful what they did to this young girl. They may have ruined her entire life.
These boys should pay and pay dearly. Throw the entire book at them.
When parents cannot bring up their children in the right way, they should be made to pay.

    • @ Sideline, pray tell what will a lawsuit against their parents accomplish? Please enlighten me because more often than not the parent or guardian of these children are unable to rub two five cents together much less pay a lawsuit settlement.

Perhaps the children are of affluent means, like the heirs to the Cocoa Cola or Red Bull fortune, both of whom were raised wanting for nothing yet became unscrupulous individuals. Should their parents be charged for the men they have become and the crimes they have committed?

      • I’m sorry each time I have to take out time to educate. Things start in the home. Children’s upbringing is the parents’ responsibility. This is done in many European countries. When you know you are going to be held responsible for your child’s misdeeds, you will pay attention to how they grow up.
Let me give you an example. if you go into a shop with your child and you let your child run wild in the shop, the child accidentally breaks a very expensive crystal vase. Who do you think is responsible for that? The parents will have to pay for the damage. That is why in the developed world you take Public Liability Insurance for your children. Another example.
Your boys are playing cricket or football in the road and accidently break the window of the neighbor. Who must pay for it? The parents. So, any misdeed done by a minor, it is the parents that have the responsibility to make good. Why do parents want to take praise when their child/children do well? Well, they also must take blame when they mess up big time.
Only dogs made puppies and leave them to find for themselves. Most of the time the mother will try, but the father has gone about his business. That is why we have many stray dogs. There is no family structure in the dog’s life.

  4. People needs to stop reporting these incidents to the police, all this does is to make them famous, no nobody is going to these things to any of my Kids and end up as a defendend in court, these people needs to be afraid of going to sleep at nights because they are afraid of the booggyman.

  5. This country may be low on murders, but missing people, break ins, and sexual assault crimes are so high in this country, it’s very scary.

  6. As long as there will continue to be no arrests and breakthrough of these crimes, it’ll just continue to escalate. So if police do not crack down now, we might be doomed for the future.

  7. These crime’s are happening long time but no one takes, what is going on seriously. The power’s that be have the ball these old laws need to change😡

  8. Did it ever occurred to any of you that this girl could be lying. Who said those boys forced her. Maybe she was a willing participant and lied when caught by her family. These little girls are so deceptive. They will lie through their teeth and send a lot of innocent men and boys to jail to save them or cover for someone else. Me nah trust them little huex them to damn lie.

  9. I am not condoning what was done to this young lady. But if the evidence proves that a crime was committed, then by all means prosecute to the full extent of the law. But let’s look at the facts. She is 15years of age. It is said that the proposed sexual act happened about 9.30am in the morning. Should she and the other boys not be in school. Why was the age and number of these alleged perpetrators not mentioned . Names are not to be mentioned because of the age and serious nature of the offence. These are some questions that need to be asked and look at.

  10. Thank you D Jude!
I had to read through all the comments to see if anyone had picked up on the timing of the ‘alleged’ incident?

Although I live in the UK, my work is with children and young people, my first thought was, why is the victim not in education, why is she with a group of teresterol fueled young men?
Searching questions need to be asked before judgement is made, I eagerly await the outcome.

  11. This isn’t an gang initiation ritual. The term is “battree” and it has been happening for decades. When a young man is walking a young women thru a neighbourhood, the other boys can be heard yelling “Battree!”. Its up to that young man to agree for it to happen. I have never heard of anyone forcibly executing “battree” amongst teens. I have heard of many young women regretting their actions afterwards though. Adult men, however, tend to take more liberty in forcing a woman into unwanted sexual acts.
Certain neighbourhoods and young men are generally known for these activities and as my Dad used to say, “By your companions you shall be known.”

  12. “Hughes was sentenced to two years imprisonment in January after being found guilty of Indecent Assault on a 14-year-old girl.”

The court was told that the violation had impacted the young victim so severely, she wanted to end her life and had engaged in self mutilation.

“…the Court heard that Hughes, who is now 56, offered the child a ride home and HE VIOLATED HER while driving from Gunthorpes to St. John’s.”

UPP still have him on crusader radio with Croiff the deportee?

  13. Not just sexual crimes but basic crimes are going unsolved so they need to get it together and build the facility. We will c how long these petty crimes will go unsolved. Absolutely nonsense.
