Former Antigua and Barbuda Police Commissioner, Vere Browne, is set to be honored by Interpol for his exceptional service.
Nominated for an award during Interpol’s 100th-anniversary celebrations, Browne’s dedication to the global police force will be recognized.
He will receive the accolade at a special ceremony held in Antigua.
Browne’s career also encompassed a role in the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force. Interpol, the world’s largest international police organization, facilitates global law enforcement collaboration.
The celebration will gather government officials, diplomats, police officers, and dignitaries, with Public Safety Minister Steadroy Benjamin delivering a keynote address.
