Antigua & Barbuda welcomes its ICAO Audit of its Airport and Aviation Operations! This audit comes at a time when the Airport Administration is being overhauled.

Trained Staff and a CEO will be in place soon, and expected to resolve several issues occasioned by serial removal and redundancies of CEOs from 2020 to date.

The ability to draw on the experience and knowledge of the ICAO team face-to-face and with site visit possibilities, several important irregularities could be identified and measures outlined to improve our performance, and once again attain Category 1 status.

The Government, after 20+ years of adding the negative uniqueness of Antigua being the only member-state of ICAO, with two landowners within their Airport, are now in the best position to confer with the global authority on a two step procedure to overcome the challenges of landownership at an airport.

This anomaly has been awaiting ICAO advice by our Government and Airport Authority with what is called “Registering a difference.”

This Antigua ICAO Audit ‘26 can bring all these pertinent issues to the fore and have them dealt with effectively with expert and on-the-spot advice. Small countries like Antigua must learn to use the expertise of visiting professionals to strengthen our homegrown technicians, where for the most part our visitors gladly engage.

The opportunity is presented to fall in line with the tenets of Aviation, Rules, Regulations & Transparency.
