Local Non-profit organization Initiate Spark is playing its part this holiday season and is giving back to the community.
The NGO visited and provided gifts to the residents of the Passion of the Heart elderly care home.
Initiate Spark members expressed that the elderly subset of our population is often neglected and overlooked. They added that the ongoing threat of the pandemic continues to render some more vulnerable than others and decided to show appreciation and support with a contribution of gifts.
The group also commended the management and nurses of the Passion of the Heart elderly care home and encouraged them to continue their good work and assured them that their efforts and dedication to the residents of the home was significant, and of great value to the community.
