An Immigration officer, Ty Thomas, has been charged after allegedly discharging a firearm at a Barnes Hill funeral.

Thomas, who reportedly holds a valid firearm license, was restrained at the gravesite, as shown in video footage circulating on social media. The circumstances remain unclear.

  2. It is very important that we maintain our dignity and self respect. I’ve heard it over and over again that “people disrespect us”; this was a funeral service and this immigration officer takes out his gun and shoots in a funeral. This is ill discipline and rage which is a dangerous cocktail. There’s many examples of this in our society and we wring our hands and wonder and castigate our young people. Will imprisoning or fining him solve the problem? It’s yet to be seen.

  4. Guess the man wasn’t supposed to used his license firearm to fire off a warning shot to protect his mother and sister from years of warring factions from mothers sister that passed onto the same sister’s daughter that filled their heart with jealousy badmind and greed.

    Anybody knows this guy’s mother and sister knows they’re peace to the dead. Ask the sister that works at prison who was wrong. You that sister Jan why you think she can’t reach far? When you hear not even god don’t want to see you right away you know you are the DEVILS WHORE

  6. @Wong Pink…….If his mother and sister werent in any immediate danger Ty has no cause to discharge his firearm….There is no report of any physical altercation taking place at the funeral so dont make any excuses…Ty is a grown man who has a good head on his shoulders he got angry and made a mistake….Like a man he will face the consequences of his actions….

  7. @ Wong Ping. While I am not questioning his character and his motives, his actions were still dangerous and showed poor judgement.
    It seems that people are not prepared to walk away anymore. What was the gun going to solve in that moment? If there is no common ground between his side and the other party, just leave it alone.

  12. He’s not going to get away with this one. If he were smart, he would’ve maimed or killed someone and then discarded the firearm wherever he deemed safe and he would’ve been a free man. Remember we don’t want any hot guns.
