Friends, after such a lovely time last week, yesterday morning, we awoke to this awful situation.
We are devastated to report that we had a break in at our animal shelter some time during Saturday night/ early Sunday morning.
The perpetrators tore the electric gate off the track and you will see the destruction and mess in the photos.
They took our brushcutters which are used to cut the guinea grass for the donkeys and even stole the large Kia truck with which we haul the grass!
We are hoping they will abandon the truck and it will be found although they apparently already used it for another job.
We can use our livestock trailer to haul grass in the meantime until the Kia is found. Our biggest concern right now is security.
