CABINET NOTES: The Minister of Health gave a report on the flooding of the theater at the Sir Lester Bird/Mount St. John’s Medical Center (SLB/MSJMC).

The floor is to be repaired this week since the contracts have been signed with the firm doing the repair.

The overhead piping is already fixed and elective surgeries are likely to recommence in a short time.

  1. No alternatives? Are the alternatives located at the private hospitals? Hey Joey and Chinny we know your facility’s are ready to collect on this.
Get with the times my Powerhouse Nation!

  2. … and yet Gaston Browne’s overly expensive One Nation concert is still going ahead.

Surely, this idiot man has more urgent priorities to spend our tax dollars on – like our main hospital!

Again, go figure my fellow Antiguans …

  3. Here we go. A newly built structure already having leaking issues on top of all the debacles going on.

We are so deep in debt to other nations thanks to the government, we will never get out of debt. When nations come calling for payments which we know can’t be made, crown lands will be given away and worse yet might even be owned by our creditors.

In the meantime, the politicians will walk away and enjoy a great life without even thanking us for giving them our tax dollars. You think things are bad now, wait until foreign entities own our island.

Government members will simply ride off into the sunset.
