The Hopeful Hearts Foundation (HHF), founded by Kristine Louisa, continues to make remarkable strides in uplifting communities across Antigua and Barbuda through its ongoing educational, humanitarian, and youth advocacy initiatives.
To kick off the school year, Hopeful Hearts Foundation has touched countless lives through its signature Backpack Project, donating 200 school bags filled with essential supplies to under-resourced students across multiple primary schools, and delivered each backpack individually to the houses.
The foundation has also facilitated clothing drives and community outreach efforts, ensuring that families in need receive continued support and encouragement. Such clothes were donated to the Salvation Army, Sir Lester Bird Medical Center, Red Cross and multiple families.
As part of its ongoing School Tour Initiative, HHF — led by National Youth Ambassador Kristine Louisa — has been visiting schools across the island to empower students through motivational talks, mentorship, and mental health awareness discussions.
The team has already visited several schools including Five Islands Primary, CT Samuel Primary, Buckley’s Primary, Green Bay Primary, and Mill Academy, and recently visted Parham Primary School.
Throughout October 2025, the Hopeful Hearts Foundation will continue these school tours, donating:
- 50 printed children’s books generously provided by Something Nice Books
- Additional school supplies to students in need
- And hosting sessions on mental health awareness and “Mind Over Matter” resilience, emphasizing the importance of emotional wellbeing and self-confidence among youth.
Looking ahead, Hopeful Hearts Foundation is excited to announce its collaboration with the Logos Hope Ship in November 2025, further expanding its educational and cultural engagement within the community. This partnership will provide opportunities for shared learning, volunteering, and youth development initiatives.
In addition, the foundation is preparing for a Walk for Charity scheduled for next year (2026) — a major event aimed at raising funds for school supplies, youth programs, and community support projects.
Hopeful Hearts Foundation continues to welcome donations year-round, as every contribution helps expand the reach of its programs and impact within the community.
Looking ahead to December, the foundation will host its annual Christmas Drive, with a goal to impact over 250 individuals — surpassing last year’s milestone. Through this initiative, HHF aims to spread joy, provide essential items, and remind families that they are never forgotten during the holiday season.
