The Special Recognition Awards, presented by Heather Doram and Calvin Southwell, celebrated outstanding achievements in music education, performance, and cultural development in Antigua & Barbuda.

The Le Château D’or Music Academy received the Music School Award for its dedication to youth development through music education and performance. The Antigua & Barbuda Youth Symphony Orchestra (ABYSO) was also honoured with the Music School Award for its significant contributions to orchestral music and youth development.

In the Choral Contribution category, the Antigua & Barbuda Chorale was recognised for its remarkable impact on choral music, while the Antigua Community Players were acknowledged for their outstanding contributions to both music and choral performance in the region.

The Long-Serving Musician Award was presented to two influential figures in the local music scene: Herbert “Burger” Joseph and Gavin Christopher.

Both musicians were honoured for their enduring contributions to music, carnival, and mentorship, leaving a lasting legacy in the industry.

The awards celebrate the incredible recipients who continue to shape the future of music and inspire generations in Antigua & Barbuda.
