Honoring Culture and Style: Sir Novelle Richard Academy Heritage Day 2025
Friday, February 27th, 2025, was a day of vibrant celebrations, cultural pride, and educational awareness at Sir Novelle Richard Academy as students and staff gathered to commemorate Heritage Day.This annual event showcased the rich diversity of our heritage through **music, dance, poetry, storytelling, and fashion, reminding us of the importance of embracing and preserving our cultural identity.
One of the most exciting highlights of the day was the “Best Dressed Competition,” where students competed for the titles of Best Dressed Female and Best Dressed Male. Their outfits were not just garments but expressions of pride, creativity, and deep-rooted cultural traditions.
As an advocate for youth empowerment, education, and community development, I was honored to support this initiative by donating prizes for the winners of the competition. Encouraging young people to embrace their heritage while fostering a sense of confidence and self-expression is something I deeply believe in.
