Subject: Grateful for Your Support and Committed to Serving All Saints West

Dear Constituents of All Saints West,

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support as we navigate this journey together. Today, with the dismissal of the legal challenge against my status as an independent Member of Parliament, we celebrate a significant victory in building our constituency.

First and foremost, I want to give thanks to God for guiding us through this process. I also want to extend my deepest appreciation to you, the wonderful people of All Saints West, for your trust and belief in my ability to represent you. I am eager to use my time in Parliament and my role in the Cabinet to advocate for the needs and aspirations of our constituency and our great nation.

I must, however, express my disappointment in the leadership and legal advisors of the United Progressive Party. It is disheartening that my constituents were misled regarding the implications of my position. It is my hope that those truly responsible will not only reflect on their actions and the ill-advised counsel they provided but also bear the burden of paying the judgment of the full $1,500. In light of the judgment and compensation awarded, all of the funds will be contributed back to the development of our constituency. The failed leadership of the United Progressive Party should be held accountable for their imprudence.

Thank you once again for your support, I want to reiterate my love and respect for everyone, including those in the UPP. My dedication is to all constituents of All Saints West, and I look forward to serving you with integrity, enthusiasm, and commitment. Together, we will continue to build a stronger, more prosperous All Saints West.

  1. CONGRATULATIONS Hon.Anthony Smith. This is VICTORY for ABLP. Is the $1500 legal costs to be paid by the PLAINTIFF must be a mistake. More like $15,000. UPP SARL.

  2. Anthony, the Court is the Court. The Court doesn’t represent the conscience of the voters who voted for you as the UPP Candidate. There’s an old adage that you must not bite the hand that feed you. Please don’t stick out your chest in victory criticizing the UPP who gave you the opportunity to serve. Apologize to the voters whom you left hurt by your decision. The Court can adjudicate you as an Independent as much as it wants. it’s how the majority of voters see you is all that matters as you face them on another judgement day. Pride goeth before a fall.

  3. Good people of ASW, let’s just pause for a moment and ponder what this man have done.

    He was a UPP candidate who you voted for and put your trust in, then he decided he wanted to leave the UPP party and become an independent candidate.. immediately after denouncing UPP and became an independent, he was offered a position by the Priminister (the other party/enemy, leader)
    Then shortly after that he is seen all over place with the same PM and going on assignments on his behalf.

    Now ask yourself this.

    Is this person actually an independent?
    The answer is very clear to me.
    So if he’s still saying he’s an independent candidate after all I just mentioned, then he is a liar, because he hasn’t been acting as one…plain and simple.

    So if you want a liar representing you, that’s on you, but don’t tell me that this man is not a Liar and a deceiver, and someone that cannot be trusted.

    Yes it’s your choice at the end of the day, but is it the best moral choice? If there is no such thing as “Morals” anymore in this world, then gosh darn it, chose this man to represent you, but if there is still such a thing as “Morals” in this world, then this man should be rejected for his deception and betrayal, must.

    I wrap this up with this thought.

    It’s like I’m married for twenty years to a woman, and after that 20yrs she come to me and said that she doesn’t like men anymore and want a divorce.
    Now what would I think of this woman’s actions, her choice yes, but isn’t that a betrayal of trust?

    Can you trust such a person after that? Yes you can still respect their decision, but can you trust them?

    Big big questions folks, but it’s the reality that’s in front of us today.. THIS MAN IS A JUDAS, PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

    He left for his 30 pieces of silver. If he wants your vote, let him come and giveaway the 30 pieces, but I bet he would never do that.

  4. You may think you have won this particular court case Mr Anthony Smith, however, this is seen by many (especially the constituents in All Saints West) as a PYRRHIC Victory where the cost of your win is seen essentially more like a defeat.

    The cost of achieving this win will be way too high for you, because you’ll always be known for letting the UPP voters down for this hollow and empty PYRRHIC win.

    Duplicitous human being …

  5. When all those UPP people who switch to ALP get elected and switch back to UPP, see how it is going to go. Did the Judge look at Sec 43 of the constitution? this judgement may just open a can of worms and chaos in parliament.

  8. Just two guinea pigs from the ALP are good enough for a lab test. I seriously think that they would make an important case study. Anthony Smith tore into Gaston and the stooges retaliated in nasty fashion before Gaston was able to make a counter. Gaston made an offer, Smith and he shook hands and the stooges celebrated and attacked anyone who dared to oppose and so it went with all those who were purchased by Gaston. Apart from sniffing out people with deep pockets; to the benefit of the UPP, he’s also about to sniff out traitors too.

  11. We understand the judiciary system we have and know how the delivery of justice ⚖️ is been done in some demography. Sir the real justice will come at the polls when the next election is called.
