Have mercy on our country, Lord! Save our people!
We can’t talk have conversations and settle disputes anymore with words? Does it always have to be a physical fight which can lead to lost lives and jail time.
If they know who committed the murder call his name so that we can look for him
He is in a better place.
@. How would you know he is in a better place? Have you ever been there to experience it?
Here we go again. The heart of man is growing more and more desperately EVIL. We have sold out to the enemy and he controls our minds. So when these evil impulses invade our minds….it is difficult to resist the temptation. Unless of course, one is in close connection with the HIGHEST SOURCE of RIGHTEOUSNESS.
We continue to go down the path of destruction. Could not this confrontation be resolved in a peaceful manner ? Do we not think of our actions and the subsequent consequences; before we commit to doing them? It is really sad how another young soul perished in such senseless, evil way.
There is a cause of all the evil in our world. The SIMPLE, PLAIN TRUTH. is that we have all turned from the SOURCE of GOOD and follow the wide, easy path that leads to destruction.
But Woe: a time of RECKONING is soon at hand. We may flee and escape the corrupt justice system of man, but NO WAY will we evade the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE of the Universe.
Wake up: People. The era we are living in are SERIOUSLY DANGEROUS times.
When will we ever learn. Sadly, it is going to get worse.
Emphasis: The Creator WILL NEVER force man to follow His way. He set before us good and evil. He told us to follow GOOD. We decide to go contrary and now look at the world of results. The mess we are in. Just take a glance. Even the blind can see.
But one day…yes one day soon…..after all mankind would have decided to go one way or the other ( good or evil), The Almighty will stand and judgement will take its course.
I cry out: people…take heed. Cry out to the Master for help when these evil impulses invade your minds. Call out for strength to walk away from the evil and resist the enemy’s trap to bring us down.
WORLD “CRYSIS”: END SOON COME !
True talk.
Words of Truth
I am surprised that an economic powerhouse such as this, there are no social programs for young people. Where do they go to learn how to socialize, except in a line waiting for eatables at a Syrian or Chinese restaurant? How many of them have a father or father figure in their lives? How many have their parents’ presence and support at sporting events. Where are the youth friendly places for them to go – park? arcade? skating/bicycle rink? Where are the after school programs? Where are the locally generated media programs for their participation? And most of all, where is the respect for life? Conflict resolution? We are in a sad state.
Move out with your political argument.
Young people have many avenues open to them, but they also have choices whether or not to join.
Every church in Antigua have youth clubs. They are sports teams, drama clubs, educational opportunities, Debate clubs, dance, steel band, music. Because of the this incident and others like it, does not mean that a large number of Antigua youths are not engaged in positive activities
I totally agree that the services for youth are lacking. Not every child can easily get to clubs at churches and distant schools. It’s good for young people to go to church, but not all families attend; so there should be community clubs that they can join as well.
Aloenso, I agree. I am surrounded by youth engaged in positive social and learning activities. What I notice is that in all those cases, the parent or parents is /are actively involved in the holistic development of their child or children. I applaud them and I support them. My support may come in the form of encouragement, attending games and events that the kids are involved in and sometimes transporting them to activities when the parents are unable to. We all must do our part.
Please introduced conflicts resolution in schools. From the first day to the last one.Perhaps we would not have so many young people doing heinous deeds.
