Health Officials ask for more police support to deal with home quarantine breaches:
According to the Cabinet, the evidence reaching the contact-tracing officials point to a disregard of quarantine conditions when men and women are assigned to homes; they unlawfully break the quarantine and go to the supermarket, to banks, and even to work, mixing with others.
The Public Health Act places the responsibility on employers to ensure that those who have been placed in quarantine do not enter into workplaces; specially designated police will be assigned to removing those persons from work spaces and to ensure that they are placed in better-confined places from which they cannot stray.

The bracelets were a joke. I know a family of five that were given one bracelet so the father was quarantined but the rest of the family were not. I also have a friend whose bracelet caught fire and he had to cut it off and it took until the day before his quarantine ended for them to come. There is NO escaping it everyone coming into Antigua should be fully vaccinated. Not a complete fix but a start.
I know of someone who left her quarintine home and went to the golden grove school. I call the ministry of health a lady answer the phone and told me to call back in 10 minutes. I never call back
The Ministry is a joke. ..What about the party at Royalton with what they said is 200 non mask wearers in a pool. I was told to quarantine a night after 8p.m… 2 days after contact with infected person…a week later with no money. No one to help what do i do?? It wasnt easy there were many day where i was hungry. The 14 days passed didnt hear from Ministry called the number which called to advise of quarantine and I was given attitude. Mind you I hadnt heard from them for 2 weeks. Ok they came and tested on day 15 on day 18 am still waiting to hear whether its ok to leave home or not.
