Dangerous surf heights of 2 to 3 meters (6 to 10 feet) are expected, with potential life-threatening rip currents.
Potential Impacts:
Risk of loss of life and injuries due to strong currents.
Beach erosion and localized coastal flooding.
Disruption to marine recreation and local businesses.
Precautionary Measures:
Remain cautious on affected coastlines; only swim where lifeguards are present or in sheltered southern beaches.
If caught in a rip current, float calmly and swim parallel to the shore. Seek help if necessary.
