The High Court has dismissed former Police Commissioner Wendel Alexander’s application for judicial review, upholding the Police Service Commission’s decision to terminate his appointment. The court also ordered Alexander, a qualified attorney, to cover legal costs.
Alexander plans to appeal the ruling and is prepared to take the case to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council if necessary. He declined further comment, citing a separate trial related to his suspension set for February.
