Hermitage Bay has been named to Condé Nast Traveler’s 2026 Gold List, earning recognition among the world’s top hotels and resorts.

The adults-only Antigua property was selected in the publication’s 32nd annual awards, which honor excellence in service, design, cuisine and overall guest experience. Hermitage Bay features 30 villa suites set on a hillside, each with a private infinity pool, along with direct access to a white-sand beach.

The all-inclusive resort has drawn praise for its culinary program, highlighted by evening sunset and sushi cocktail hours prepared by Nobu-trained chefs.

Hermitage Bay was acquired in 2024 by Daniel Shamoon, co-owner of Luxury Hotel Partners, which also manages Spain’s Marbella Club and several Nobu Hotels worldwide. Plans are underway to open a Nobu hotel on Barbuda in 2026.

Other Caribbean properties recognized on the Gold List include Coral Sands Inn and Cottages on Harbour Island, noted for its pink sand beach and redesigned interiors in The Bahamas.
