Wow, these comments are truly disheartening. It’s heartbreaking that, as a people, we continue to tear each other down instead of uplifting and supporting one another. The harsh words, cursing, and belittling have to stop. It’s even more alarming when some of these actions are justified under the guise of Christianity. Let me remind you—Jesus never taught us to judge or condemn. His message was one of love, forgiveness, and compassion for all.

Too often, people use Christianity as a shield to justify their harsh opinions and judgments, forgetting that the foundation of the faith is love. Jesus didn’t teach us to look down on others because of their sex, lifestyle, or personal struggles. Instead, He commanded us to love one another as He loves us. So, when we stand in judgment of others, calling them names, cursing their character, and declaring them “sick” or unworthy, we are not reflecting Christ. Instead, we are giving in to pride, hatred, and division—tools of the enemy, not of God.

The Bible reminds us in Matthew 7:1-2, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” How can we claim to be followers of Christ while ignoring the very teachings He left for us? It is not our place to condemn or belittle anyone. The only One who has the right to judge is God Himself.

We must also remember the seriousness of Matthew 7:23, where Jesus says, “Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” Imagine hearing those words after a lifetime of claiming to serve Him. That should be a wake-up call for us all. Our actions, especially how we treat others, reflect the state of our hearts and our relationship with God. Belittling others is not Christ-like; it’s the devil’s work, plain and simple.

I pray for the day when we, as a people, can move beyond this toxic behavior. A day when we stop using religion as a weapon to harm others and start using it as a tool for healing and unity. A day when no one will have to live in fear of being judged, ostracized, or labeled by so-called Christians. Let us remember that love is the greatest commandment and that we are called to extend grace and mercy to all—not just those who look, think, or live like us.

Let’s stop the foolishness. Stop the judgment. Stop the cursing. Stop the belittling. Let’s start embodying the love of Christ in our actions and words.
