Brandon Browne, a distinguished graduate of the Paramedic programme at the Emergency Training Institute of Trinidad & Tobago (ETITT), has become the first Antiguan to achieve international certification as a Certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C) and Certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C).

Having worked at the Antigua Barbuda Emergency Medical Services (ABEMS) as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician for many years, the Director of the ABEMS, Shawn Greenidge recommended Browne undergo the Paramedic training at ETITT in 2019.

Despite facing delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Browne successfully completed his paramedic course in 2021.

Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth, Browne decided to specialize further in his Paramedic career.

In 2023, he pursued additional training with a reputable university in the USA, focusing on Critical Care Paramedicine.

His dedication and hard work culminated in successfully challenging the USA International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC) exams, earning him the prestigious titles of Certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C) and Certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C).

It is noteworthy that Mr. Browne passed both exams on his first attempt, a testament to his exceptional skills and knowledge in the field.
