Harold Lovell Holds Youth Listening Session in All Saints West

Former political leader Harold Lovell has described a youth listening session held in All Saints West on Friday night as a “great success,” commending the energy and engagement of the 20 young participants.

Lovell, who now serves as the United Progressive Party’s caretaker for the constituency, said the forum created a valuable opportunity for young people to speak openly about their dreams, aspirations and the obstacles they face in pursuing them. Drawing on his experience as a university professor, he called the exchange both candid and inspiring.

“The energy in the room was contagious, full of passion, determination, and hope for the future,” Lovell said. “By listening to their stories, we can lead better. These young people are brimming with potential, and I am committed to walking alongside them as they shape their future.”

While choosing not to share photos in order to respect participants’ privacy, Lovell highlighted the importance of mentorship and guidance. He said engaging directly with young people allows leaders to provide practical tools, encouragement and perspective to help them realise their ambitions.

The session forms part of Lovell’s ongoing outreach efforts in the constituency as he seeks to strengthen connections with younger residents and involve them more closely in community and national development.

  1. Harold you go rise up the RED ANTS NEST again, you know every time you do anything they quake in their boots, never see a set of people fraid one man so, is now the thieving machine going into overdrive, just watch out for Faithful National #1 comment he never fails to disappoint

  2. “Drawing on his experience as a university professor…”
This guy really has NO shame!! Has it even been a year yet, and is he even still doing it?
Regardless, he hasn’t been for any significant time to be giving the impression that he has a wealth of experience in the field of education to draw from.

  3. In think Harold Lovel has a lot to offer. What I don’t like is the ingenuity. As an elder you should have known all along that these young people existed. So if the young lady had gotten traction and was still the care taker he would not have recognized their potential that needed guidance to unlock. On the other hand I don’t support Anthony Smith. He was voted into office on the UPP ticket and I don’t like what he did. It’s not everything that is legal is right- for example the legal age of consent is 16years. So should a 60 year old unmarried man come home as my granddaughter boyfriend. I taking that head off!
So I don’t support Harold Lovel because he never showed any interest in the people or development of All Saints West. Worst yet Anthony Smith. If ever an independent candidate, from the constituency interest and had a history of activism. That individual would definitely get my support.

Now, this part caught my attention. Please explain the difference between this forum and the Health Fair?

  5. Anti-man Dave Ray just had to have something to say, why isn’t he addressing the crime situation ad the fact that this administration doesn’t have a clue as to what they should do about it
