H.E. Lady Sandra Williams accepted a donation of EC$2100 on behalf of the Halo Foundation, from Lady Alice Roberts of Roberts & Co., Attorneys at Law. Each year, a sum of money is collected from the staff at Roberts & Co., and the amount is matched by the law firm for contribution to a chosen charity.
Lady Williams expressed appreciation to the management and staff of Roberts & Co. and stated that at the request of Lady Roberts, the funds will be used specifically to assist the Sunshine Home For Girls.
Consequently, the donation will be applied to the “You Can Help!” campaign which is an initiative of the Antigua and Barbuda High Commission in the United Kingdom.
The campaign supports three causes in Antigua and Barbuda — inclusive of the Sunshine Home — as these causes continue to face additional challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, over £30,000 has been raised from a £145,000 target.

Lady Roberts doesn’t exactly seem happy to be making this donation. Cover those jiggly arms and SMILE next time.
you are clearly filled to the brim with hate to make a comment like this. Why don’t you go and make your own donation and stfu??
My dear.. .truth be told…please clean up your heart .. this is a beautiful gesture and your first thought is to attack someone’s physical appearance. Smh .. let’s be kind one to another please. The lord Loveth a cheerful giver and we are all wonderfully made in his eyes.
The Lord loveth a CHEERFUL giver, not a frowning one. Correct. Happy wife = happy life? Hmmmmm.
this is amazing?!? I was on a plane last December when I met CIP Citizen Dr. Sharad Nair and he mentioned his total donations to various charity projects in Antigua exceeded USD 500,000!!! wonder why we have never seen him appear in any press???
Some people like to keep things anonymous and private.. I know random people who live overseas who also donate to different organizations back home in Antigua. Everything is not a show
I applaud this move by Roberts & Co. How many companies encourage their employees in the act of giving ? Even pennies count . It’s not always about the size of your wallet . Moreover , it’s about the size of your heart.
