Guyanese Man Attempts to Flee Antigua, Leading to Bail Cancellation

Delon

Delon Wills, a 35-year-old Guyanese man with a history of evading authorities, tried to escape the country to evade legal consequences, resulting in the revocation of his bail.

Wills, wanted for various crimes and previously on bail for aggravated robbery, violated his bail conditions by failing to report to the police station and obtaining a new passport.

Authorities had issued a travel restriction order due to his involvement in multiple serious offenses, including robbery, fraud, and housebreaking.

After a wanted bulletin was issued, Wills surrendered through his legal representative, leading to the cancellation of his bail and his incarceration at His Majesty’s Prison.

Wills is also cooperating in an investigation involving stolen checks.

  1. There has been such an increase in crime since the labour government decided to grant amnesty to all kinds of crooks and criminals to stay in power. The crime rate in Antigua has never been like this. Women are afraid to sleep at night and business people are running scared of gun men. All kinds of illegals and unemployed men are running around Antigua with no means of support. My once peaceful, beautiful island has now become like all the other criminal hot spots in CARICOM.
