The News Room was informed that a police mobile patrol went to the fisherman’s home this morning at about 09:30hrs and found six parcels wrapped with transparent plastic and black plastic bags, along with bed sheets and towels.
Closer inspection of what was in the parcels revealed a quantity of leaves, seeds, and stems suspected to be cannabis.
The narcotic was weighed and amounted to 3, 840 grams or 8.4 pounds.
The fisherman was arrested and is assisting with investigations.
