Apostle Survives Attempted Shooting During Church Break-In

Apostle Dr. Stephen Andrews credits a miracle for his survival after armed burglars tried and failed three times to shoot him during a pre-dawn break-in at St. John’s Pentecostal House of Restoration Ministries on Sunday.

Dr. Andrews arrived at the church around 3:30 a.m. to find one of the offices broken into.

Confronted by the thieves, one reportedly ordered the other to “shoot him.” Despite pulling the trigger three times, the gun malfunctioned, and the men fled with stolen items, including drinks from a refrigerator.

This alarming incident followed another burglary at the church earlier in the week, during which cash and electronics were stolen.

Andrews shared the terrifying experience with his congregation during Sunday service, emphasizing the need for vigilance.

  3. Churches used to be a safe place. In fact, many churches often leave their sanctuaries open, welcoming members and other worshipers to come and go as needed. Unfortunately, these are different days and criminals sees the church with its equipment and technologies as a prime target for them.
    A place of worship is no longer sanctified and off limit for thieves and many sees the St John’s Pentecostal House of Restoration tabernacle as wealthy and affluent.
    I am glad that Dr Andrews was not hurt in the melee. The servant of God is truly covered.
    The church though must begin to improve upon its security mechanism by installing alarms and security cameras on its premises. The bandits fired a warning shot which must be taken seriously. May God continue to protect the church.

Who are the parents, especially the father’s for these young men that are making havoc in our society? Gaston needs to bring the fathers for these young men to light if they don’t get their wild animals under control. Expose their fathers and I am sure the mothers do all their can in raising them.

Let me get this straight 3:30 in the morning you felt something was wrong at your church, so on your own without notifying or being accompanied by anyone else ventured to the church, the same church that was broken into a few weeks ago, a church that should be fully secured by security cameras and alarms, again keep in mind it’s 3:30 in the morning.
    This is the big one! he notice the door was messed with and also notice two individuals, but instead of holding back and call the police, the brave man decided to confront the thieves on his own, but was he really brave or stupid? Cause briefly after, the brave APOSTLE (big name) was seeing running from the same thieves whom he claimed attempted three times to shoot him but the gun jammed.
    I guess God was really on your side, now you have a great sermon to preach on.
    We often view videos of different crimes, even this one had a brief footage, isn’t it strange that a compound with cameras all around in and out, all we had was an individual quickly confessing to the crime, not one footage, man no one confess to a crime of this nature this quick and look who he have as his lawyer.

Personally, I have had many miraculous experiences in my own life from prophetic dreams that actually came true to miraculous experiences in which I had a sudden inclination that I should do this not that and the results were dramatic – something unusually bad would happen if I didn’t do it or something untypically good would happen if I did. I have also had answers to prayers that could not be explained by chance alone. I have opened my Bible in important situations and it landed on rare verses or concepts that spoke directly to my situation. For me, I have enough personal evidence to believe in an all powerful, all knowing being greater than us. Why not? If we can invent computers and AI, it is not unreasonable to find that we ourselves could also have been created by someone with an intelligence greater than us. The universe is very mathematical in it’s design. It is quite rude to disparage other people’s beliefs without knowing their personal life stories and experiences or reasons for believing. Non-believers just assume that believers have no good reasons, indoctrination etc. but they never actually talk to believers in depth or ask the right questions. Anyway, people who lack faith will always find a reason to disbelieve other people’s experiences. That’s why really you need to seek out your own personal experience with God – go to church, read the Bible, pray etc. In this case with the pastor we don’t know whether it was a miracle or chance, but considering this is the first robbery in these parts in recent times in which that has reportedly happened, and it only happened to a man of God, it could indeed be a miraculous intervention from God. God could have arranged things so the crooks ended up with a jammed weapon. He could have jammed it himself if he wanted to. Since we don’t know, we should just thank God the pastor is alright and carry on with our lives instead of being rude about it.

  21. Over the years I have “preached” that this “self enrichment” as practised by our politicians is going to destroy our country. See, “monkey see, monkey do”. The youths are not going to see some getting mighty rich and their situation remain barely hand to mouth. Some of the older ones will beg a dollar or two from the “Big boys” and be satisfied with that but not the youths. We are now reaping the whirlwind and until and unless the citizenry wake up and deal with the “head” of the fish, the rest will continue to rot. Another word to the wise is sufficient.

I was going to refrain from saying anything about Stephen Andrews but it is high time he gets called out for his ‘prosperity gospel’ message and other false doctrines he’s been pedaling for years. I don’t regard him as an apostle in the slightest. I will even go as far as to say that he is a minister of unrighteousness talked about in book of Corinthians. If anything, this is a wake up call for him that he needs to repent and change from his wicked ways.

  31. A church these people must had being raised by wildlife ,they probably never even entered a church of all the place to burglarize no fear of God or man. It’s getting out of control now there should be undercover with guns in every church and establishment only way to send the message is to let then leave in a bag enough of the trying to rehabilitation .
