In the aftermath of a double shooting in Greenbay resulting in a fatality and critical injury, St John’s Rural West MP Richard Lewis has called for a unified policy to combat gun crimes in Antigua and Barbuda.

Expressing concern over the alarming incident, Lewis emphasized the need to bridge political divides and address the nation’s safety collectively.

He urged collaboration between opposing parties and security forces to tackle the crime wave.

Lewis also stressed the importance of bolstering surveillance at entry points and investigating missing licensed firearms.
