The following persons were duly nominated in Barbuda today and will contest the by-election, which will take place on the sister island on April 30th 2018.

The by-election is being held to fill the seat left vacant by the Hon. Trevor Walker, who resigned on March 27th, following his victory at the March 21st polls. Mr. Walker now sits as the Member of Parliament for Barbuda in the Lower House.
