Dancehall and reggae superstar Buju Banton has been added to the all-star cast of artistes who will perform for thousands of Caribbean culture lovers at the second edition of Melé Destinations.
Buju will join headline act Machel Montano alongside Voice, Lyrikal, Nailah Blackman, Skinny Fabulous, Nadia Batson, Viking Ding Dong, Ravi B and Olatunji in Cancun to give fans a concert performance they aren’t likely to forget.
In just three months, Cancun will experience some of the Caribbean’s finest, with concert performances by both Montano and Buju on two separate nights, featuring their greatest hits.
TRIBE and Machel’s Melé Destinations is a five-day food and drink inclusive event which takes the fete, fun, music, and mas of Trinidad and Tobago Carnival to an all-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico.
September 7 to 11, 2023 marks the second edition of this Caribbean Music and Carnival Festival after a sold-out inaugural edition in April 2022.
The 2022 edition of the destination weekend getaway featured fetes day and night, Carib Beer, Angostura White Oak Rum, Doubles, bottomless premium drinks, unlimited food, a cast of the Caribbean’s finest artistes and DJs, plus an all-day Carnival parade by TRIBE Carnival.
