Reminder- Notice of Works in Golden Grove
NOTICE TO STAKEHOLDERS OF CONTINUED WORK IN
GOLDEN GROVE ON VALLEY ROAD NORTH WHICH WILL
CAUSE DELAYS AND INCONVENIENCE.
Special Notice is given that there will be total closure of a section of Valley Road North (VRN), in Golden Grove, to upgrade an existing culvert on Saturday, 23rd November, 2024.
Vehicular traffic traveling south from St. John’s will be required to make a right after Golden Grove Primary School, drive onto Tindale Road and follow the diversion signs.
Traffic traveling north will be required to make a left before the Christian Union Church, make a right onto Tindale Road and follow the diversion signs back onto VRN.
Local access is allowed within the closure. Follow the instructions of flag persons and follow the diversion signs through Golden Grove as shown on the attached diversion plan.
Alternatively, persons traveling from St. John’s, north to south, are encouraged to bypass the diversion altogether by using Tindale Road, better known as (Nutgrove Main Road).
This closure will remain in effect between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm on November 23rd.
Stakeholders are asked to make adjustments to their travel plans to allow for delays.
C O Williams sincerely regrets the inconvenience. The road work is a part of the Second Road Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project being implemented by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.
