The Cabinet has reviewed progress on the upcoming merger of Glanvilles and Pares Secondary schools, set to take effect in September.
Officials from the Board of Education and Ministry of Works are finalising preparations to ensure a smooth transition for students.
As part of government support, each Glanvilles student will receive three regular uniforms and one dress uniform to aid integration and promote unity at the new school.

This merger better come with real improvements to the school facilities. It can’t just be about cutting costs.
Why close Glanvilles at all? That school has served the community for years. Feels like we’re losing more than we’re gaining.
