Through the local representative, Jill Fuller, their Excellencies the Governor General and Lady Williams sent the following message to Team Antigua Atlantic Rowers:
“On behalf of the Government and People of Antigua and Barbuda I join Lady Williams in wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Bright and Prosperous New Year. We are all proud of your efforts as our Ambassadors in the Rowing Challenge!
We are also aware that to maintain first position you are undergoing tremendous physical and mental challenges. The prayers and best wishes of the entire Nation will continue with you in your journey across the Atlantic. We look forward to welcoming you all back safely!

In response, Jill Fuller thanked Their Excellencies for the message which she indicated would have served as a source of great encouragement for the Team.
Team Wadadli Atlantic Rowers are expected back in Antigua and Barbuda in mid-January 2018.
