
Ge’eve places first runner-up at Queen of Queens Calypso Monarch in Montserrat
Calypsonian Ge’eve, representing Antigua and Barbuda, placed first runner-up at the 2025 Queen of Queens Regional Female Calypso Monarch competition held here last night.
The competition was contested over two rounds. Performing as Calypsonian No. 4, Ge’eve delivered “One Man” in the first round, followed by “Daughter Come” in the second round, earning a total of 947 points.
The title was won by Terri Lyons, who scored 985 points, while Roselyn finished second runner-up with 888 points.
The Queen of Queens Regional Female Calypso Monarch brings together top female calypsonians from across the Caribbean and is a major cultural highlight of Montserrat’s festival calendar. Ge’eve’s performance marked a strong showing for Antigua and Barbuda on the regional stage.
