The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission is pleased to announce the official gate access plan for Inet Party Monarch, one of the most anticipated events on the Carnival calendar.
To support a safe and efficient flow of patrons into the Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG), the following gates will be in operation:
Gates Open at 7:00 PM
General Entrance Gates:
• Social Security Gate (Independence Drive)
• Government House / Roundabout Gate
Exits:
• Gate Opposite Red Cross (Old Parham Road)
Vehicular Access (Car Pass Holders Only):
• Old Double Decker Gate (VVIP Entry)
• Coronation Road Gate Opposite HMP (for Artistes and Production Personnel)
We encourage all patrons to arrive early, follow instructions from on-site personnel, and enjoy an evening of high-energy performances and local soca excellence.
Inet Party Monarch 2025 is going to be a vibe.

Amazing it took a letter to the highly respected ANR for some positive actions on safety and security to be implemented. Now that carnival has almost ended. Who would have been held responsible if there had been a stampede in the grounds? Does the Carnival Committee carry public liability insurance for these activities? And I ask the same question about all the other big events like Rise etc? This should be standard. Legislation should be in place. But even without legislation, the Police and Fire Services have the power to ensure crowd capacity, exits and other safety precautions. But wait what am I rambling about? This is Antigua where nothing is done properly and then we react when something happens. Just like how the carnival committee has just reacted.
