Introducing Ms. Gabrielle Nia Hamlet: Antigua and Barbuda’s Hopeful for the 42nd Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant!
We are delighted to present Ms. Gabrielle Nia Hamlet, who will proudly represent Antigua and Barbuda at the 42nd edition of the Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant! This exciting event is set to take place on Sunday, December 29th, 2024, at the Multi Sports Complex in BVI Tortola.
Antigua and Barbuda has a storied history in this prestigious pageant, having won the crown at least twice in its early years. Known as St. Kitts’ arch-rival, Antigua and Barbuda has consistently been a strong competitor. One of their most notable past contestants is the renowned soca superstar, Claudette Peters, who made a significant impact in the early 1990s.

Seventeen-year-old Gabrielle Nia Hamlet, born on October 2, 2007, embraces the motto “If not now, then when.” She grew up in the stunning twin island state of Antigua and Barbuda, where she completed her primary and secondary education. Gabrielle is now pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Marketing at the University of the West Indies Five Islands. A creative spirit, Gabrielle expresses her passion for the arts through fashion, sewing, makeup artistry, dance, painting, and lifestyle content creation. She enjoys engaging in fun, interesting, and inspirational conversations with others. Throughout her academic journey, Gabrielle has consistently excelled, earning numerous awards and maintaining her status as a top student. She served as a prefect for two years and was an active member of her school’s student council, representing her institution in various educational programs.
During her secondary education, Gabrielle deepened her love for dance by joining the school’s dance group, where she earned several titles and performed at national events. Her passion for pageantry led her to participate in Antigua and Barbuda’s local “Mr. and Miss Teenage Pageant,” which she used as a platform to showcase her talent and versatility. Gabrielle won the title and now leverages her platform to promote her country through marketing. Excited and honored, Miss Hamlet looks forward to representing Antigua and Barbuda in the 42nd Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen competition, eager to create lasting memories and unforgettable experiences.
