SHE CONGRATULATES MICHAEL FREELAND ON ABLP PRIMARY VICTORY.
St. George, Antigua – Following the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) Primary on March 18, Bakesha Francis-James extends her heartfelt gratitude to the constituents of St. George, her dedicated campaign team, and all who supported her vision for a stronger, more prosperous community.
“Though the outcome was not in our favor, I stand proud of the campaign we ran; one built on unity, service, and a commitment to progress. To every supporter who believed in our mission, walked the journey with us, and lent your voices to our cause, I thank you from the depths of my heart,” said James.
She also congratulated the newly elected caretaker, Mr. Michael Freeland, wishing him success in leading the constituency forward. “I pledge my full support to Mr. Freeland as he takes on this crucial role. The ultimate goal has always been the advancement of St. George and the continued strength of our beloved ABLP. Unity is one of our strengths, and I remain committed to working in the best interest of both the party and the people.”
James further acknowledged her fellow contenders, Joel Rayne and Salim Brown, commending them for a race well fought and their dedication to public service.
To the people of St. George, she offered words of encouragement: “This is not the end, this is a new chapter. Our community is filled with potential, and together, we will continue striving for excellence, ensuring that St. George remains a beacon of opportunity and progress.
As a proud member of the ABLP and a devoted advocate for St. George, James assures constituents that her passion for service remains unwavering. She calls on all supporters to rally behind Mr. Freeland, uniting for the greater good of the party and the constituency.
