The police have arrested and charged four young men in connection with the possession of a modified flare gun.

Charged are 19-year-old Niah Joseph of No. 2 George Street, 19-year-old Jeremy Floyd and 21-year-old Devontia Summer, both of No. 3 George Street, and 21-year-old Duran Benjamin of Green Bay Hill.

Around 3:10 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, police officers were on mobile patrol in several areas across the island, including Grays Farm, Green Bay, Hatton, Five Islands, Hawksbill Beach, Yeptons, and Deep Bay, and during the patrol, they stopped and searched a silver Honda Fit motorcar, which was occupied by the four men.

They are expected to appear before the court to answer to the charge.
