Trevor Young, a former police officer turned politician, has recently published his debut novel titled “Integrity Comes at a Price.”
The book recounts his experiences during his service in the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, as well as his subsequent political career.
Young launched the book at a ceremony in St John, where he explained his motivation behind writing it.
He expressed concern about the wrongdoings of individuals holding public office in the country and believed that this should not be tolerated.
By sharing his experiences, he aimed to discourage future leaders from engaging in corruption.
With the publication of his book, Young aspires to serve as a deterrent to young aspiring leaders, emphasizing that corruption is not a path worth pursuing.
He cautioned that although it may seem tempting initially, it ultimately damages one’s character and reputation.
During his speech, Young alternated between invoking a sense of revival and addressing his audience as if it were a political gathering.
He strongly criticized some of his former colleagues in the police force, stressing that they cannot simultaneously uphold the law and be lawbreakers.
He firmly stated that it must be one or the other.
The book is dedicated to Ethan Joseph, a young constituent from the St. John’s Rural East constituency.
Young became emotional when describing his relationship with Ethan, who is disabled, and recalled the significant disagreements he had with his team when he was a candidate for the UPP in that area.
Having contested the Rural East Seat for both the UPP and the Democratic National Alliance, Young’s novel is now available through various online book outlets.

Integrity? Trevor Young went around damaging people’s character and reputation. Do what you preach!
Put your face to your name like I did.you are a coward.put the book that is already in 164 countries around the world to include Harvard University in your pipe and smoke it… Hope when you finish smoke it drive you mad…
@Trevor Young…I don’t find it strange, that many of you, as former Senior officers from COP’s – Pompey and Robinson, others like Burnette and yourself are speaking out against “integrity” in the purported upper echelon of the society. The reason why, I don’t find it strange, it’s evident from the management styles and behaviours by senior public/government officials. However, what I do find strange, is the fact that, all these accusations have being and are still being made, by Senior Law Enforcement Officers; therefore, the question(s) begs…
(i)…were investigations done and evidence collected and stored, by law enforcement to even address Cold Cases in the future, knowning, that some crimes do not have Statute of Limitations?
(2)…with all of the information and evidence gathered why to this day, only a handful of cases, against corruption(white_collar criminals) have being brought before the judiciary for prosecution?

There are many people who know Trevor Young lacks integrity and has gone out of his way to take unnecessary revenge on others. He has had smear campaigns against unproblematic individuals. His ego and attitude are his major downfall. It’s sad.
You don’t sound like a man of integrity to me.
You talking?! Your cowardly ways and lack of integrity has kept you back all these years. Do some introspection before you go around damaging people’s character and reputation before you claim “integrity”.
