  1. So this girl plans to put in a “not guilty” plea..how interesting.

So her initial confession to the crime must be mired in illegal procedures, and wouldn’t be admissible in court, and this lawyer knows it.. huuumm.

Not unless she is getting a lawyer for the sentences faze of the proceedings, but I think the latter applies here.

Prepare for a long drawn out battle folks.

    Very interesting indeed.

  2. I understand that b*tch is entitled to legal representation by law but how can this man still practice law here?
    Where is the bar association?

  3. Bird people bring all these foreigners here and they’re now conspiring against indigenous Antiguans. The DR vermin must swing from her neck!

  4. Every accused person has a right to representation. One day it could be you. If justice is not served, the fault is with the system that WE as a society have created, not with a man who is doing his job. Many times it’s the prosecutors and the police that lose the case. I say it again…I am just as upset as anyone but she has a right to representation.

  5. Anthony Armstrong, you people gotta be shitting me, they say justice is blind but not that f****ng blind, he shouldn’t even allowed back here

  6. To this day we still don’t know the clear cause of death and the way this case is going, yes she will be charged with child abduction, but getting a guilty murder verdict will be difficult and I guess the former DPP saw that.
There are a number of cases presently on file, that if represented by a top notch skilful Lawyer, a guilty verdict will be difficult.
So much crazy shit happened in this place that quietly just swept under the carpet, some with a hastily arrest and most where no arrest ever made. Murders, sudden disappearances and who remembered gun men just walking in to shops and terrorizing workers.

  7. Former Director of Public Prosecutions Anthony Armstrong knows the system all too well and will exploit it’s weaknesses to defend his client

    Where is the Bar Association???
Why should a group that has focused on extracting money out of Antigua and Barbuda people be expected to suddenly raise their heads other than to defend themselves.

The Bar Association do not represent anyone other than themselves. Individual members of the bar takes on the task of legal representation.

Recently the Attorney General Cutie Benjamin commented on the fact that Antiguan attorneys do not become defence attorneys. They all wish to practice commercial law.
The family made a smart choice. Alexander knows the system and it’s weaknesses. Investigations are weak and poorly handled.
Committal proceedings are scheduled for 17 September. That clearly says what’s the game.

  8. @Facts,
He was compromised by ABLP soon after his arrival.
Afraid of being exposed he became a tool of the ABLP and worked to their wishes and be right.

  9. That’s a casual walk in the park for Armstrong.
If that case makes it to trial he will make light work of it.
If he is ready to work he should even get his client out of jail and free of the charge before the September date.
The police will be exposed for incompetence.
The head of CID and the person in charge of tge Serious Crimes Unit both need to be moved.
This will be case number what which will go down due to poor investigation??????

  10. Did any notice the Acting Police Commissioners has not been confirmed even though he was nominated for the job by the committee who reviews and nominate Police Commissioners.

I guess he still going through his loyalty tests to the powers that be
