Former Dominica Prime Minister Edison James has urged Antigua and Barbuda’s leader, Gaston Browne, and other OECS heads to back his party’s fight against alleged injustices by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit’s government.

James and United Workers Party (UWP) members, including President Lennox Linton and Dr. Fontaine, face charges linked to unrest in Roseau after a protest demanding Skerrit’s resignation. Businesses were vandalised during the disturbances.

Following a recent court hearing, James reaffirmed his commitment to seeking justice, accusing the government of repression.

The legal battle continues in Dominica’s High Court.
