FOOD HANDLERS’ TRAINING
TO: ALL FOOD-HANDLERS
The Ministry of Health, Central Board of Health (CBH) wishes to inform all Food Handlers and prospective Food Handlers of the following:
- Food handlers wishing to access the Food Handlers Training Course facilitated by C.B.H must REGISTER at the Central Board of Health (CBH) Upper Church Street (8:30 a.m.- 12:00 noon).
- Provide 2 Passport sized photographs if new applicant, or an Expired Badge (from 2018 onwards) if Renewal of Food Handlers Badge.
- Pay a Registration Fee of $50.00.
- A $25.00 fee will be charged to any person missing their scheduled training and wishes to reschedule.
- Sessions limited to 80 persons only.

April 10th, 2025 (Retrained) 9 AM to 12 PM
April 17th, 2025 (Retrained) 1 PM to 3:30 PM

Anybody in food service should jump on this quick! Them spaces does full up fast.
Good initiative, but I hope them make it more regular so people don’t have to scramble for space.
Hope the sessions actually teach people proper food safety, cause some places out here real slack.
Long overdue! Too much food vendors operating without proper training.
I think this should be mandatory for EVERYBODY handling food, not just the ones who sign up.
Hope them training cover proper food storage too, cause some places not handling food properly.
