The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services have issued a flash flood watch for both islands, set to begin at 4 p.m. today and extend until at least noon tomorrow.
This precautionary measure comes as slow-moving Tropical Storm Philippe threatens the region with severe weather.
Barbuda is now under a tropical storm warning, while mainland Antigua is under a watch, pending review this afternoon for possible upgrade to a warning status.
