CABINET NOTES: The Cabinet invited three officials from the University of The West Indies (UWI) Five Islands Campus development team who have the responsibility for overseeing the expansion project that is beginning to take place

The officials reported that geo-technical studies, where the new primary school is to be placed, have revealed some unexpected soil formations that require some review of the foundation drawings for the new Five Islands Primary School, than had originally been done to ensure that the buildings are safely constructed.

This process is expected to be completed shortly.

  1. So you draw your plans and then you test the soil? seems to me that it was done in reverse, but you guys are the geniuses

  2. Good that they’re addressing potential issues early, but I hope this doesn’t delay the project too much.

  3. Better to address any potential problems now rather than later—hopefully this review speeds up the process.

  4. So wait!!

You have big ceremony to turn soil on any place to start building a building???

Shouldn’t you have done all your testing and environmental surveying first of all potential sites before, then choose one out of the multiple, then have your soil turning ceremony of the said one?

The way how this was done is conclusive as to how this government operates and waste tax people’s money and time.

    Hab merty!!
