Police arrested five men and seized ammunition, suspected stolen property and two vehicles during a search at a Nut Grove residence earlier this week, according to reports.

Investigators executed a search warrant around 3 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2025, at the home of two residents, with several other individuals present. Items seized during the initial search reportedly included a vehicle key, a cellphone, Eastern Caribbean and U.S. currency, and a pair of license plates.

The search was extended to an open plot of land adjacent to the property, where police reportedly found a black plastic container holding a magazine, several rounds of ammunition, two snap caps and gun oil. Clothing and a black laptop were also seized. Two gun oils were allegedly recovered from one of the men.

Police also reported finding a blue car on the property believed to be stolen. A separate search of a vehicle driven by one of the suspects reportedly yielded a magazine holster.

All five men, all Nut Grove residents, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and taken, along with the seized items and vehicles, to the St. John’s Police Station. Investigations are ongoing.
