First and second doses of Pfizer resume after 5000 doses from St. Lucia arrive

(Health Ministry resumes first and second dose Pfizer administration)

 

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to announce that the administration of both the first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine will resume at the Multipurpose Cultural and Exhibition Centre as well as the Villa Polyclinic, All Saints Health Centre and Clarehall Health Centre effective October 26, 2021.

 

This decision is being taken as a result of the U.S. Government preparing to donate its second tranche of Pfizer vaccine doses to Antigua and Barbuda and Barbados early next month.

 

As stated in a release from the U.S Embassy in Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda is scheduled to receive its second shipment of 23,400 Pfizer vaccine doses in November after receiving the first tranche on August 12th, 2021.

 

The Pfizer vaccine is the only vaccine approved for use in children as young as 12 years old and is undergoing an approval process for use in children as young as five.

 

The Ministry of Health has confirmed receiving 5,000 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine from St Lucia.
As a result, effective Tuesday, 26th October, first and second doses will be administered at the Multi-Purpose Cultural and Exhibition Centre and the Villa Polyclinic.
The Pfizer vaccine will also be available at All Saints and Clare Hall Health Centers on an appointment basis.

 

Meanwhile, the Ministry is reminding the public that there are other vaccines available in the country.

 

These include the AstraZeneca, Sinopharm and the Johnson and Johnson.

 

Weekend Vaccination will also take place on Saturday 30th October 2021 at the Multipurpose Cultural and Exhibition Centre from 9am to 3pm.

 

The vaccines that will be available are Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm and the Johnson and Johnson.

  1. The article and the headline do not match. The headlines states the resumption of Pfizer jabs came from a donation from St. Lucia while the article states that it is a result of the US donation. Which is it?

  2. It is telling that there are folks like me who had, felt and experienced Covid would still say no vaccines.
    The World has indeed gone mad when they are willing to force others to put a substance in their body. Take it or you and your family starve.
    Never give that power over your body to any Govt. YOU AGREE TODAY BUT, WHAT IF YOU DON’T AGREE THE NEXT TIME ? . IT’S A PERSONAL CHOICE ONE THAT I’M WILLING TO LIVE WITH.
    These decisions today will surely affect your children or your children’s children.
    The courts might be all too willing to give the authority by past precedent.

  4. Pfizer getting away with so much because it’s the company that Bill gates in most invested in. They all have scripts and timelines to follow by a certain time. Haven’t you people noticed events are basically in sync with the rest of the world especially country’s pushing the vaccines on it’s citizens? This has nothing to do with public health.

Why aren’t the people lining up in the streets excitedly awaiting the Chinese vaccine while singing the praises of our socialist brothers and sisters in the Chinese Communist Party while holding banners with Xi Jiping on them? Why? China is our new colonial master after all! Instead, the people no trust China the same way groveling Top Dawg Gasto Baby does with his palms out. They want a vaccine that can be trusted from a country that doesn’t conduct surveillance and intimidation missions against their own citizens overseas. China is not our friend! China wants economic and political influence in the Caribbean, Africa, and the Pacific as they wage a de facto Cold War against the US, Canada, Australia, Western Europe and more. Time to wake up folks, they’re our new masters, not our brothers.
