Wayne Knowles faced legal consequences as officers discovered an unlicensed gun and ammunition in his Donovans home during a search warrant execution at 7:30 am.
Knowles admitted ownership of the pistol found under a bedroom floorboard, lacking the required license.
He pleaded guilty to all charges in Wednesday’s proceedings, resulting in an $8,000 fine for the firearm, a $3,000 fine for the magazine, and a reprimand for the single bullet.
Knowles must pay $3,000 immediately and settle the remaining debt by January’s end to avoid a six-month prison term.

This broke government is trying to raise money through the courts by all these fines for illegal possession of a gun 🔫.
This is the only thing that make sense with all these fines.
Why execute a warrant for someone, only to just fine them when you find the evidence,why?
Why go through all this trouble just to fine the person?

Antigua is a peaceful place, a suggestion that would be appropriate is to lock up these perpetrators and throw away the key. They need to be taken off the streets once & for all……
Police can go harrass the likkle man and dem and CAN’T DO NOTHING to the main people responsible for these actions. Do they really think the gun trade is a few little people selling, trading and exchanging guns….. This is WAAAAAAAY bigger!
