I would love to win
They say calypso dieing, but as a calypso lover and never missed a finals i say calypso dead and will be the first to be buried in the new cemetery. We have nothing to look forward to and the anticipation is not there,
The calypsonans and writers are themselves to be blame and am hearing a little Trini vibes Karene Ashe and Terri Lyons in some rendition, not forgetting the judges who usually grant certain names a free pass.
Gee Bee was the highlight of the evening and you know king Fiah always bring it but you have to be real fan to understand his lyrics Sungu and lungu. Tin skin etc plus a unique calypso voice, Lady Melody great job and Rain sang her soul out.
