Government orders missed vehicle audits at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium

The Ministry of Works has instructed all public officers assigned government-owned vehicles who missed their scheduled audit dates to report for inspection next week.

In a notice issued on Friday, the ministry said the audits will take place at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Monday 2 March and Tuesday 3 March between 09:00 and 16:00.

Officials said the directive applies to all individuals who were previously given appointments but did not attend.

The ministry has not indicated whether further dates will be scheduled, urging those affected to comply within the stated timeframe.

  1. How many public officers have Government owned vehicles? Those who are using them.Do they get free gas and services? The tax payers monies are used to pay those expenses. Why those public servants cannot use their own cars. When they have to travel for duty. They fill out a travel form and be paid for the mileage used.Instead of using and abusing the Government owned vehicles for personal and professional usages. The bull chit needs to be regulated and be stopped now.

  2. I know of some folks who say…dem nar go fu non inspection cause dem no want fu change our dem A-plate. Dem no want non G-plate fu hamper dem under cover runnings

  3. That reminds me; how’s the progress going on the vehicle acquisitions procurement scandal?

Gaston and Maria Bird-Browne have gone very quiet on this scandalous issue. Why so?

  4. So there will be no info shared with the public about PUBLIC vehicles? Just another slap in the face of those who are burdened with constant increases in taxes, no duty free waivers and the likes?? The list of known vehicles should have been published just like when they looking to auction. Show us what you expect vs what you find. AH A-WE MONEY AH SPEND!!
