Fernandez Distributes Over 150 Food Packages Across Constituency

Parliamentary Representative Charles Fernandez and his team delivered more than 150 food packages to residents in St. John’s Rural North over the past two days as part of a community support initiative.

The effort targeted individuals and families facing hardship, offering essential supplies during what Fernandez described as “challenging times.” Residents welcomed the assistance, with many expressing appreciation for the timely outreach.

Fernandez reaffirmed his commitment to supporting constituents and urged those in need to contact his office. The initiative forms part of a wider push to strengthen community ties and ensure no one is left behind.

  1. That’s nice but I challenge this minister and all ministers to help repair the homes of their elderly constituents. Food, safe shelter and clothing are necessities so let’s do all three for our elderly. And to those of you talking bout teach a man to fish…these same elderly taught you to fish so now they can’t it’s time for you and I…all of us… to make sure they are taken care of.

  2. These Labour Party politicians are something else, their policies keep poor people poorer, then when they think they need you, like for instance Labour Day they come around delivering food packages with some low quality foolishness to hoodwink you into thinking that they care about your welfare. You people are going to pave the bottom of hell

  3. SHAMELESS (S O B) just wondering if it’s some of the loot from Deluxe Cinema. Antiguans really deserve what they get from these ingrates. They pauperize then when they need you they come around offering gifts like Santa Claus. Just adding insult to the injury

  4. I don’t understand since when helping the less fortunate, the sick, or the elderly has become a photo up opportunity by the general public and more so by elected officials.
    😕😕🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

  5. And you are proud to tell the world that you are a poor beggar while the MP lives in luxury.
Look at the state of your house.
Look at what the MP is gibing you in a red bag.
    Using you for political mileage.
If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day.
If you give him a line you feef him for life.
That’s why the politicians love keeping you people in poverty.
When they come around and give you noodles and canned foods which are not healthy you think they are your savior.
    No. They are not.
They just want you to be in poverty and depend on them so you see them as saviors and feel obligated to vote for them.
Do you ever see the MP except when he brings you a $50.00 bag of unhealthy food?
He shows up just wheb your vulnerability is at its highest so he can take advantage.
Your children should be ashamed of you and the politician.
That is if they are not beggars and dependents to.
